Played basketball this morning, talked shit, did this tattoo, went for chinese food with Michelle and Len. Good day, got home late and missed 'Jersey Shore', it's a shameful habit, but I can admit to liking it. It's like the world's biggest trainwreck, on television for all to see. To think a little fat girl and a busted broad with fake tits could make it rich and famous for doing nothing but being obnoxious... And I had to learn how to tattoo well before anyone wanted to hear anything about me.
Anyways, here's a tattoo for you, enjoy.

So far behind....
So yeah, in between the hometown tattoo convention, being booked beyond my capacities (through october, which is a lot for me personally), and planning travel dates, I just haven't found the time to update this. I have an arseload of new photographs to put up, but for right now I'll just throw this one up to keep the masses (you) satiated.
I need to learn how to manage time better, and sleep less... Man I would do so much more if I didn't have to sleep. Well, that and if my dog would walk just a little bit faster.

Nothing But Tattoos...
Today, just to get them out of the way I'm going to forfeit any clever commentary & just post a bunch of tattoos I've done lately.
Basically, there's a black and gray half sleeve I just finished up.
An old piece of Jerry Collins flash, which honestly, I could live the rest of my life just doing those sorts of tattoos.
And last but not least, there's a girl I tattooed on my boy Dave a few years back, probably very differently from how I would draw it today, but in the end, I was really pretty hyped on how it came out. For those of you who don't know Dave, he's the dude who used to work at the skateshop on St Laurent, with the neck tattoos. Sadly, that place caved, and homeboy's working at Virgin Mobile in Place Montreal Trust now... Go there and look for him, and if you need cell phone action, get him to set you up. He's about the only honest salesperson you'll ever meet.

Back in Montreal.
So, As most of you know, I've been back in town for a few days now, working out of a private studio that's been in 'construction' for the past month or so. I'll have a few pictures of it to put online soon enough, but for that, I have to find time in between appointments to dork out and take some halfway decent photographs of the studio.
It's tucked away in an office building in NDG, one of Montreal's now finer neighborhoods (due to a gentrification process that's wiped it clean of people lacking well paying jobs, or other interesting social ailments that once made it what it was. It's cool though, because now rich kids and people suffering from midlife crisis can safely run around pretending they are roughnecks.). I don't have a storefront, or signage, but if you are in that neck of the woods, call me at 514 777 3073, and I'll more than likely invite you up to take a look.
Until said photos arrive... Here's a tattoo I did out of the new place.

Most of My Best Friends are Jews.
One last image from Edmonton, I'll probably get some shit for doing this tattoo unless I explain the contradiction behind it all...
This, as many know, is the quote emblazoned above the gate to Auschwitz. What most people however don't realize, other than those of us who speak German, is that it means 'work sets you free', which in the case of the slave labor oriented concentration camp, was the furthest thing from the truth.
I'm sure both of us will get some flack for that piece, nothing however compared to the artist who gets stuck doing his next piece... Tentatively titled 'the holocaust never happened'.
That last part was a joke, please don't beat on this dude if you see him, he's a good guy.

Edmonton (post 2)
Just another cool tattoo I got to do on a gentleman by the name of Andrew here in Edmonton. He's one of the few guys I know of, left doing graphic design and enjoying it (all the graphic designers I know, self included, are tattooers or vagrants now).
I tattooed a really nice lotus on his lady as well, but the photo quality was lousy, so you guys won't get to see it.

Edmonton Alberta (post 1)
For those of you who don't know me personally, or haven't heard, I've been visiting Edmonton for the past week and a half, working at Ink Machine with two of my favorite tattooers, Danny Gordey, and Shawn O'Connor.
Even though so many people are so stoked to tell me how much they hate this town, I seriously enjoy myself every time I'm here. Good food, riding the insanely long river valley trail to work every day, and enjoying summer weather that doesn't involve sweating like a homo eating a hot dog every time I leave the house.
I've also developed a morbid fascination with local characters amorously referred to here as 'rig pigs', which almost rivals my obsession with juggalos (another common creature found in Edmonton).
Anyways, before I chew your ear off about nothing, here's some photos of shit I've been doing.

Out of Towners
Have Josh and Andrew coming up from upstate NY today so that Josh can get his arm worked on... If you don't know Josh, the lighthouse here is on him, and we are continuing it down with a warship manned by pigs (I love animal lib. tattoos). As for Andrew, if you get a chance, check out his tattoos at Andrew Stortz . Solid for someone with less than 2 years tattooing under his belt.

Maritime Tattoo Convention
So last weekend, my girlfriend, Len, and Andrew, hit the road out to Halifax. Made the 13 hour drive in one straight shot, and settled in to work like migrants at the Maritime Tattoo Festival. I'd regal you with stories of certain people's exes hacking their phone accounts and calling girls they were texting, and all sorts of other craziness, but let's be honest... With all the TV our generation was raised on, you probably don't have the attention span for more than the photographs.
